It has always been like that, but now the quality of life within our plant is certified. After obtaining ISO 9001 - VISION 2000 certification, CLECA SpA obtained in June the Ethics Certification of Social Accountability SA8000: 2001. A certificate issued by the world leader in certification SGS-ICS. The SA8000 is a standard based on the principles of the 11 International Labour Organisation conventions, the United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The rule is related to working conditions, including: child labour, forced labour, health and safety, freedom of association and collective bargaining, discrimination, working hours, remuneration and management systems. By means of such certification, CLECA protects both persons and their work, in any point of view and expects the compliance with the same rules from its suppliers. Our main objective is to increase the attention of companies and suppliers regarding the use of unfair and inhuman practices and working conditions.
