CLECA directions can be summarized as follows:
1) All SA 8000 Standard requirements shall be met, a compliance with domestic laws and generally with the legislation in force as well as international working condition agreements shall exist;
2) Fitness, suitability and effectiveness features of the Social Liability Management System shall constantly be improved;
3) Juvenile work shall neither be utilized nor favoured;
4) Compulsory work shall neither be utilized nor favoured;
5) Personnel shall work in a clean and safe environment being suited to prevent mishaps and/or accidents;
6) The personnel's right of association and collective bargaining shall absolutely not be hindered;
7) A personnel discrimination shall neither occur nor be favoured;
8) Disciplinary procedures such as corporal punishment, mental/physical coercion, verbal abuse shall not be adopted;
9) Personnel shall work during a suitable working time complying with the concerned legislation and rules being in force;
10) Personnel's job shall be paid according to its tasks, illegal work shall absolutely be hindered;
11) Personnel shall be trained and made aware of a Social Liability concept;
12) Suppliers and sub-suppliers shall be chosen according to their possibility of meeting Social Liability requirements;
13) A suitable procedure and/or corrective actions in case of claims related to Social Liability matter by personnel or concerned parties shall be adopted;
14) Obtained Social Liability performances shall be notified;
15) No punitive actions towards personnel shall be taken, in case personnel raises issues, claims or Social Liability matters.
