The guidelines established by the Management of CLECA can be summarized as follows:

1) Compliance with all requirements of the SA 8000 standard, compliance with national laws and, more generally, to all current legislation and international agreements related to employment;
2 ) Continuous improvement of the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the Management System for Social Responsibility,
3) Neither use nor encouragement to use child labour;
4) Neither use nor encouragement to use forced labour,
5) A work environment being clean, safe and able to prevent risk of injuries and / or accidents;
6) Respect of the right of association and collective bargaining of employees without any restrictions;
7) Neither making nor supporting any discrimination among the employees;
8) Neither adoption nor fosterage of disciplinary practices such as corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion or verbal abuse;
9) Staff work schedules being in accordance with and appropriate to the legislation currently in force and the industry standard;
10) Staff remuneration appropriate to the assigned duties and prohibition of black work, in all possible ways;
11) Adequate training and awaken the staff to Social Responsibility Requirements;
12) Evaluaion and selection of suppliers and sub suppliers according to their ability to meet the of Social Responsibility Requirement;
13) Adoption of an appropriate treatment and / or corrective actions for remarks concerning Social Responsibility made by employees or parties concerned;
14) External communication of the performances obtained in terms of social responsibility;
15) No punitive action against staff giving rise to problems, remarks or issues of social responsibility.
Further targets are set during the annual review of the management and recorded in the Improvement Plans.
