Cleca transforms food waste into biomethane.

In a context of environmental evolution and awareness, our company is strengthening its commitment to sustainable production models.

In line with the principles of the circular economy and end-of-waste, we have implemented a process for the recovery of food waste in collaboration with Agromet, a Mantua-based company and leader in the agri-food waste management sector, using it as organic material for biogas production plants. This approach significantly reduces dry waste and promotes its conversion into biomethane or energy, transforming potential waste into a valuable resource.

Through this initiative, we want to contribute to promoting concrete solutions for a more efficient, responsible and circular energy future.
