Preheat convection oven at 160°C. Melt butter (50 g). Grease a 26 cm cake pan with a piece of butter. Peel and slice the apples (1 kg). Pour into bowl the cake mix, add 2 eggs, 130 ml of milk and 50 g of melted butter. Stir well with a wood spoon. Add the apples but keep some slices for decoration. Pour into pan, decorate with apples and bake for 45 minutes. Insert a tootpick in the center of the cake. If the toothpick is dry, the cake is ready.
