Pour the salted caramel into the bottom of a 1-quart mould or 6 individual moulds. Pour the mix into a saucepan. Gradually add 250 ml of cream (preferably fresh) and 250 ml of milk, stirring well to avoid lumps. For a decadent version, use 500 ml of cream. Bring to a boil and, stirring constantly, simmer for 3 minutes. Pour the cream into the 1-quart mould or 6 individual moulds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Before serving, heat the bottom of the mould for a few seconds to melt the caramel. Turn the dessert onto a serving plate. Store the dessert in the refrigerator.
